Master of Divinity (MDiv) – The training of ministers for the Reformed Church of Hungary is an unidivided one-cycle 12-semester (360 CTS) full-time program. The training consists of 10 semesters of academic training. The 11th and 12th semesters involve a 1-year internship, practical and academic training, and submitting a master thesis.
Master of Theological Studies (MThS) – A master program (undivided one-cycle) designed for those not wishing to enter the ministry as ordained ministers, but to be equipped with theological knowledge at academic level. (The curriculum follows that of the MDiv program with the exception of the pratical module.)
Catechist (Teacher of Religion) – Pastoral Assistant (BA) – The training of teachers of religious education and workers for the ministry is a 6-semester (180 ECTS) full-time or part-time program. The part-time program is available in two locations: Sárospatak (HU), Beregszász/Beregovo (UA).
Reformed Church Community’s Organizer (BA) – Students can specialize in the following fields: 1) General Community’s Organizer; 2) Mission among the Roma; 3) Diaconia (Church Social Work); 4) Hymnology (Church Music). A 6-semester (180 ECTS) part-time program.
Lay Training for Church Elders – The 1-year program trains church elders and church members wishing to know more about the Bible, our Reformed confessions, the history and structure of the Hungarian Reformed Church. The program is available in three locations: Sárospatak (HU), Sub-Carpathia (UA), Upper-Hungary (SK).
